Day 1.
Arrive cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo international airport you will be met by our Airport representative (holding Egypt Travelcations sign with your Name), Then you will be transferred to your hotel to spend the night. Our Cairo head Representative will welcome you, helping you check-in to the Hotel and let you know the plan for the next few days.

Day 2.
Pyramids tour - sleeper train to Aswan
Morning- Breakfast at the hotel then our friendly expert Egyptologist guide will accompany you to the area - inspiring Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza was built 4600 years ago. Khufu, the successor of Sneferu, was known as a tyrant and in his arrogance he decided to have a tomb built that was bigger and better than all others. The three Pyramids: Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafra) & Mycrenios (Menkaura). The Great pyramid was built by King Cheops (IV Dynasty). King Chefren, the son of Cheops, built the second Pyramid and the third pyramid was built in the reign of “Menkaura”, the son of Chefren. The mysterious Sphinx, with its mask of Chephren and body of a Lion, stands Close by guarding the land of Pharaohs. The Sphinx and the three pyramids were considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then go to Sakkara lies 25 Km south of Cairo. Djeser’s (Zosser’s) step Pyramid, (built 4700 years ago), dominates the skyline and is believed to be the ancient Egyptians first attempt at pyramid building, to see the first pyramids ever built the step pyramid of Zosser. Later that night, you will catch overnight train to Aswan.

Day 3.
Arrive Aswan - Visit Philae temple and High Dam
Upon arrival at the Aswan train station, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. After freshening up you can take an afternoon tour to the Philae temple. As the centre of the cult of Isis, the island of Philae was an important place of pilgrimage for worshippers until long into the Christian era. From Philae, Isis was said to watch over the sacred island of Biga, one of the mythical burial sites of her husband Osiris. After the building of the Aswan Dam, the island’s temples were partly submerged in water and visitors took to rowing boats to peer at the remains. Aswan High Dam, one of the biggest dams in the World (measuring 360 feet high and over a mile and a half wide), was erected to store the flood waters of the Nile in Lake Nasser, Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4.
Optional Abu Simbel Tour - Overnight on Felucca.
You have this morning an optional to visit Abu Simbel temples, get an early start journey across Aswan desert with your Egyptologist guide to explore the mighty twin temples of Ramses II, considered among the most inspiring temples in ancient Egypt and discover this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site and learn more about how the rock temples to Ramses the Great was moved to a more secure location during the construction of the Aswan Dam to be oriented so precisely that this incredible wonder can still be observed today. The great Sun Temples of Abu Simbel are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt that related for king Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari. They were reflecting the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. Both temples were discovered in 1813, after centuries of being buried under desert sands. Both temples were moved in 1960 with the help of the Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. In the afternoon, you board our Felucca for this night voyage on the River Nile, Overnight on board the Felucca.

Day 5.
Visit Kom Ombo, Edfu - arrive Luxor
After breakfast, disembark from the Felucca, visit Kom Ombo temple and visit the second largest temple for god Horus at Edfu, then transfer to your hotel in Luxor.

Day 6.
Luxor - visit West bank Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut temple, Colossi of Memnon
An early morning, start our touring in Luxor, by visit the West Bank - Valley of the Kings: the remote, barren. It was the necropolis of the New Kingdom pharaohs. By digging their tombs deep into the Theban Hills, pharaohs from Tuthmosis I on hoped to stop robbers stealing the priceless possessions buried with them. Hatshepsut Temple: Against its stark mountainous backdrop, the partly rock-hewn Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir al-Bahri is a breath-taking sight. Colossi of Memnon: the two enthroned statues of Amenhotep III are the first monuments most visitors see on arriving in the West Bank. Overnight at Luxor hotel.

Day 7.
Luxor East bank Karnack and Luxor temples - Sleeper train to Cairo
After breakfast, continuation our touring in Luxor by visiting the East bank (Karnak temple: the main center of worship in ancient Egypt and Luxor temple: has huge papyrus columns and was dedicated to the god Amun. One of its striking aspects is the remains of an ancient Christian Church and Abu Haggag Mosque. Here three religions represented in one place), Overnight train to Cairo.

Day 8.
Arrive Cairo - visit old Cairo
Arrive Cairo transfer to your hotel; check in Cairo hotel. After freshening our friendly expert Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the famous Egyptian museum where you will see many precious antiquities. Then go to Islamic areas of Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladdin which boasts the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. After that you will visit the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans constructed the fortress of Babylon. Built on the ruins of two towers of the fortress towers is the church of St. Mary, more commonly known as the Hanging Church. Next you will visit St. Sergius where it is said to be the resting place for the holy family, overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 9.
Departure transfer
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport and farewell to the land of the pharaohs.
